Earlier this week I cancelled my Airtable Pro plan and moved everything over to a self-hosted instance of NocoDB.
I’ve used Airtable for quite a while, and it's a great piece of software that I've been using as a CMS for basically all my projects. However, lately I've been on a hunt for open source versions of software I'm using, and NocoDB just looked too good.
NocoDB feels super polished, and it's honestly basically identical to Airtable (with the exception of lots of features that I don't really use) and does exactly what I need: structured data, a good UI, REST API and webhooks. It even offers one-click direct import of Airtable tables.
It even runs flawlessly on the tinyest Sliplane server alongside n8n, so I'm very happy with the switch.
